Hong Kong History Museum.

My parents have arrived in Hong Kong for ten days of spring break holiday. It's so wonderful to have them with us, spending time with our two kids and letting my husband and I go out on much needed date time. We've been busy.

Whenever the kids are not in school for the week, we always try to take advantage of the free admission to all museums on Wednesdays. With my parents in town, we thought we'd check out the Hong Kong History Museum which is directly across from the Science Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The museum was beautifully laid out and a wonderful walk through the history of Hong Kong. Hong Kong has really developed over the centuries. It has such a beautiful culture which is clearly depicted throughout the museum.

Some of my personal favorite exhibits are the permanent exhibits, like the exhibits showing the Han to the Qing dynasties as well as the exhibits showing the growth of Hong Kong as a city.
