I wanted to wait until after actual American Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations, but I could not hold out until Thursday. Instead on Monday morning, the kids and I pulled out what holiday decorations we have here in Hong Kong and we put them up together. This is the first time that I have let the kids decorate the tree, and they had so much fun finding the perfect places to hang each bauble. It was a great surprise for my husband when he came home from work that evening!
