Happy Birthday To Me.

Year thirty-six. On my way to my forties. In January, I wanted one of my words for 2015 to be "health". So I stopped drinking alcohol and coffee in an attempt to be nicer to my kidneys and my liver. Now that January is almost over, I still need to make wiser choices regarding what I eat. I started exercising but I need to be more diligent about it.

At the beginning of 2015 I also wanted to be more intentional in my relationship with Christ. I want to show more love. I want to spend more time reading my Bible.

Looking back on year thirty-five, I had no idea we would be moving to Hong Kong a year ago today. Now here we are, and we are enjoying life. We have settled in and I want another word to be "joy". I want to fully enjoy living in a foreign city. No more trying to figure out where things are, just enjoy life. Streets and boroughs of Hong Kong are no longer foreign to me. I now know how to get around on my own. And with that knowledge of how the city works, also comes peace of mind, knowing I know where to go and I'm not walking around blindly trying to find my way from Point A to Point B.

It's exciting to think of what this new year of life holds for me. Where it will take me. Where year thirty-six will take our family. So here's to a new year of life being lived to the fullest and showing love to everyone I come into contact with.
