A friend of ours let us know that the Aqua Luna junk boat was having their anniversary, and were offering free 45 minute boat rides of the Victoria Harbour on Saturday only. The ticket was simply showing your Hong Kong ID card, and you could get on! There were four stops between the Kowloon Peninsula and Hong Kong Island, with people coming on and getting off.
We picked up fruit sorbet in Kowloon City, and they were the perfect treat to eat on our ride. Typically on an Aqua Luna ride, they serve you a complimentary glass of wine, but since the ride was complimentary, we ordered a fruit mocktail.
The ride was perfect for a Saturday morning. We were all surprised that it was not busy and packed with people since it was a complimentary ride. We did not have to wait in any line to board and were the first to climb on the ship.
