Riding Without Training Wheels.

Since we don't own our own bicycles here in Hong Kong, we have to rent them at public facilities. Next to the Kowloon Walled City Park, there is a small bike track and as an impromptu family activity, we found ourselves there one evening riding around. While we were there, my daughter watched as another girl her age learn how to ride without training wheels. That was enough motivation for my daughter to take the extra wheels off of her own bike, and after a couple tries, she was off on her own. Once she gets her mind set on an idea, she will take that idea and make it a reality. Her determination is something I admire and something that challenges me as her mother! We made sure to come back the next day to help her practice her new learned skill.
