We are a southern family having moved from South Carolina and have missed some food items like barbecue, Chick-Fil-A, and grits. We have had a friend who has brought back several boxes of grits back for us from her travels to Georgia, and so we have been able to get our grits fix. However, we were still excited to find a restaurant here in Hong Kong that served grits on their menu. After church on a Sunday, we took a taxi to Wanchai and ate at The Flying Pan. The grits were a different texture than what we were familiar with, and not necessarily our favorite, but it was still a fun experience to be able to order them off of a menu on this side of the world!
