Friends of ours invited us over for an ornament making party. This is their first year in Hong Kong, and their live Christmas tree was being delivered from Ikea that afternoon. In preparation for the tree, a group of us made ornaments with them. We sang carols together, ate gingerbread cookies, and crafted our hearts out. Two of the ornaments made ended up coming home with us, and my daughter immediately added them to our tree. I plan on taking these homemade ornaments with us to our next place. It's fun making memories here in Hong Kong.
