These are the days full of extra sweets, time spent with friends, and parties. We hosted a sugar cookie baking and decorating party at our house with some homeschooling friends. It's nice for our kids to get together with other kids who are in a similar walk of life as themselves. When they were at private school, they had the opportunity to see their peers on a daily basis. And while that's not all it's cracked up to be, they miss that interaction with kids their own age. Inviting homeschooling friends over to make sugar cookies was a great get together for them.
