You can't visit Chi Lin Nunnery and miss out on the beauty that is Nan Lian Garden. Our family hadn't researched the surrounding area of Chi Lin Nunnery. We had been recommended to visit from one of my husband's coworkers, so the first day of our kid's Mid Term Holiday from school, we just got in the taxi and pointed to the spot on our Google map.
You can imagine what a pleasant surprise it was for us to discover Nan Lian Garden which is adjacent to the Chi Lin Nunnery.
We ate at the vegetarian restaurant underneath the falls and found the food to be delicious. The kids enjoyed looking out of the restaurant window at the water rushing down outside.
