Our family has grown up literally on the east coast of the United States. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was true beach life and we all love the ocean. We relish every opportunity we get now when we experience sandy beaches and salt water.
As idilic as this beach looks, the water was shockingly dirty with plastic trash floating its way over to us from mainland China. We spent an hour in the water before going on shore and eating noodles and fried rice at a beach front restaurant.
We hiked down to this beach cove in the Sai Kung Country Park. The beach was pretty deserted which always makes for a more pleasant experience!
