On one of the "free museum Wednesdays", we took our family to the Maritime Museum. However, we did not do our research before going over there, and did not realize that the Maritime Museum is a private museum, and therefore does not partner with the other free museums. We decided to go ahead and check out part of the museum, which was open to the public.
The Maritime Museum is on the water, next to the Star Ferry Pier in Central. The display that was open to the public without a fee was interesting to walk through. It gave a brief run through of the history of Hong Kong. It definitely has not been one of my favorite museum's to visit, but then again we did not go through the main part of the museum.
