The Kowloon City wet market takes up a the major part of a whole city block and has several floors to it. The vegetable produce is on the first floor and my favorite section to walk through. The many different colors of the vegetables make up a happy rainbow of sorts. The vegetables seem so pristine beneath the bright florescent lights in each market stall. Most vendors have prices listed for their vegetables, and you can bargain them down a couple dollars to wrangle a better price. I have purchased a few items from the wet market in Kowloon City. Sometimes you know the items are not grown locally, and that is ok since I am a little apprehensive to how some of the local produce is grown.
