Tat Ton Waterfalls.

The first day we were in Thailand, instead of working on the building project our hosts told us they wanted us to work on this week, they took us to a waterfall! We're not sure if it's that cultural barrier, or what the cause for the change in plans were, but off to the waterfall we went.

The kids and I piled into the back of an open pick-up truck and we went on a forty minute ride to the falls. Once we got to the falls, the kids were in their element. They love being out in nature and they were so thrilled to climb around on the rocks and to swim around in the water.

We set up camp on a rock right next to the water, and ate snacks for a couple hours before it was time to eat a proper lunch and to get the kids from school.

The longer we stayed at the waterfall, the crowd started to build up. The butterflies were thick at the falls and it was absolutely gorgeous to see clusters of them flying through the air. Tat Ton Waterfalls is a beautiful spot in Chaiyaphum to visit.

  1. How fun! I love waterfalls, too bad they're so hard to find around here! (: Your kids are sure growing up, they will look back on these years with lots of good memories and stories.
