School is out and with that come goodbyes. Goodbyes for my husband to say to his students and to his fellow coworkers. Last night was his final performance with his band. At the end of the performance my husband was honored with engraved band conductor batons. A gift that he will cherish and use for years to come. During the presentation of his baton's it was mentioned that he has touched well over 5,000 student's lives throughout his teaching career at this particular school. He truly loves his job and loves the kids he works with.
